Sample ballots to be mailed Thursday

Starting Thursday, Riverside County elections officials will mail out about 835,000 sample ballots and information pamphlets in preparation for California’s primary.

The sample ballots are designed to help voters make a “informed choices” when they go to the polls on June 5, according to a notice the registrar’s office.

About half of the sample ballots go in the mail Thursday. The rest will be mailed early next week.

The same information is available in Spanish at the registrar’s website. You can also get a Spanish-language version mailed to you by calling (951) 486-7200.
