Ruiz continues listening tour

The forum starts at 9 a.m. at the Coachella Senior Center, 1450 7th Street.
Ruiz, an emergency room physician, is challenging Republican Rep. Mary Bono Mack for the new 36th Congressional seat.
“Seniors are an integral part of the health of this community, and all of us benefit when their retirement savings, Social Security, and Medicare are protected,” Ruiz said in a statement. “I look forward to listening to our seniors about the issues they face, and sharing my ideas on solutions.”
Ruiz’s first tour stop was held before a mostly Democratic crowd on Jan. 14.
